DECEMBER 16th 1969 . Two of the Beatles appeared together on stage last night (monday , Dec. 15th) for the first time since they gave up touring three and a half years ago. George Harrison joined John and Yoko Lennon’s Plastic Ono Band for their performance at the ‘Peace For Christmas’ charity pop concert held on behalf of the United Nations Childrens Fund (UNICEF), at the Lyceum Ballroom, London.Photo shows : John Lennon sings while Yoko is covered by a sheet at his feet – during the concert.On right is George Harrison.
