GEORGE HARRISON WITH MEMBERS OF THE INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY FOR KRISHNA CONSCIOUSNESS
Beatle GEORGE HARRISON, yesterday went to a house in Sydenham Hill, London, where members of the International Society of Krishna Consciousness – who wear Buddhist-like robes and hardly a hair on their heads – were chanting a number called ‘HAre Krishna’ – released on disc by Apple, the Beatles recording company, today. George said: ‘I am not becoming a member of the society, but it’s the same scene as meditation so I’m interested.’
